Floyd Softball will host the 3rd Annual Softball for Armed Services Tournament Saturday, June 10 and Sunday June 11 at the Floyd Softball Fields at Chautauqua Park Sioux City, IA. Teams from across the Midwest are invited to compete with 100% of the tournament proceeds being donated to Support Siouxland Soldiers, a non-profit organization that provides food, shelter, support and care-packages to our Siouxland Veterans, deployed Troops and Military families.
Saturday will include a special ceremony to honor our Siouxland Veterans with great food, music, raffles, prizes, kids games, bouncy houses, IZZON Photo Booth and more. The grill and concessions will also be available all weekend with specials and Military discounts.

The second annual Cardinal Honor Run, a 10k, 5k and Fun Run/Walk, will raise funds to provide food, shelter and support for Veterans and Military families of Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. The Cardinal Honor Run is an official event of the Nebraska Sesquicentennial, celebrating the 150th anniversary of Nebraska’s statehood.
The event will kick-off the Cardinal Festival on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 7:30 a.m. This fundraising event, sponsored by Siouxland Federal Credit Union and Cardinal Days, will begin and end at Scenic Park, Riverview Dr. in South Sioux City, NE and will cross over the Missouri River on the Veterans Memorial Bridge into Sioux City.
The registration fee to participate is $30 and includes an official Cardinal Honor Run t-shirt. Youth ages 12 and under are free and may have the option to purchase an event t-shirt for $8.00. Individuals and teams are encouraged to register early at CardinalHonorRun.com
Packet pick-up will be available on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Siouxland Federal Credit Union, 3000 Plaza Dr. in South Sioux City, NE.
